Coldplay Top Album Chart
Viva La Vida storms the Top 40.
Coldplay have topped the album chart with their fourth LP Viva La Vida or Death Of All His Friends.
The album was only released on Thursday- three days after other new releases- but still sold a staggering 302,000 copies.
Viva La Vida became one of the fastest selling records in history and is expected to be one of the best selling albums of 2008.
Meanwhile sales in the singles chart proved much less strong- Mint Royale still sit at number one thanks to a dancing child and Feeder had the highest new entry at number 25.
Rihannas Take A Bow is at number two with Ne-Yo at three.
