Cole Sprouse’s New Romantic Movie ‘Five Feet Apart’ Has A Couple That Will Rival Bughead

We're already sobbing and the film hasn't even been made yet, so that's good...

Cole Sprouse maycurrently be living his best life by playing ultimate moody teenager Jughead Jones in Riverdale, but he’s now only gone and nabbed his first movie role as an adult actor.

According to The Hollywood Reporter and Cole’s Twitter, he’s in negotiations right now to star in romantic drama Five Feet Apart, which has a synopsis that will leave you feeling just a little teary eyed.

Written by Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis, the film follows two young people who meet and fall inlove while being treated for their illnesses, knowing they are both living on borrowed time.

The story is described as being “uplifting and about the people who help make every moment count as well as the transcendent power of love.”

Honestly if we have to watch Cole die while an emotional song recorded by Birdy plays we’re going to have to be carried out of that cinema.

With Cole playing one half of this tragic but no doubt beautiful couple it’s yet to be reported who would step in as his other half, though it’s going to take us a few minutes to get used to it not being Betty Cooper.

That is of course unless Lili Reinhart does actually get cast in the movie… Wait no, we’re getting ahead of ourselves again.

Five Feet Apart is set to start shooting in the Spring, so watch this space!
