Cole Sprouse’s Twitter Has Been Hacked And Lili Reinhart Couldn’t Be More Fuming
It’s not been the best 24 hours for Cole Spouse after it’s been revealed that someone managed to hack into his Twitter account and fire off a series of offensive messages.
While the Riverdale actor hasn’t directly commented on the situation, girlfriend Lili Reinhart has come forward to share a brutal response to the person who tried to set up a fake meet-and-greet in Los Angeles.
For anyone who missed the drama, PopBuzz are reporting that fans first noticed the hack at 8:45pm on Monday when Cole’s account began posting messages about Dylan Sprouse’s rumoured girlfriend, their time at Disney, and multiple requests for follow-backs.
The tweet that resulted in most people realising the messages weren't legit was centred around a fan meet a greet taking place in Los Angeles, despite the cast currently filming in Canada.
Having spotted the messages on her feed, 21-year-old Lili sent out a post to her followers reading: “Cole’s Twitter has been hacked BTW. F*ck people who do that, seriously."
This is all pretty ironic, considering Cole recently cracked a joke about having such a weird Twitter presence that nobody would ever be able to tell if he’d been hacked. At the time, he wrote: “The point is to establish a strange enough twitter that if someone hacks your sh*t it would just look like business as usual."
Life imitates art. But in all seriousness, let’s hope whoever was responsible for the hack will face some consequences for this.
