It's Double 007 As Sir Roger Moore Joins Daniel Craig For Comic Relief
Veteran actor joining current Bond for Red Nose Day 'mockumentary'...
So it's no surprise that Comic Relief roped in the funniest Bond of all time - Sir Roger Moore - when they got the go ahead for a one-off Red Nose Day sketch.
The two Bonds will be joined by Craig's Skyfall co-stars Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear and Naomie Harris.
And director Sam Mendes and producer Michael G. Wilson have also been recruited for the "mockumentary", which was penned by David Walliams and the Dawson brothers.
Whishaw - who now plays Q - said: "When I first saw the script, I was returning home from the set, and it really made me laugh out loud. I was thrilled to be asked to be involved."
And Mendes added: "I decided to take part in this sketch because the work Comic Relief undertakes, especially in West Africa, for people whose suffering is beyond our comprehension is truly exceptional. Any help I can offer, even in the smallest of ways, is a privilege."
Comic Relief – Face the Funny is going out live from the London Palladium from 7pm tonight (13 March) on BBC One.
