Orlando Bloom Snogs David Walliams For Comic Relief

Davina McCall is livid as she misses out on smooch with star...

They say the best way to get over a broken heart is to throw yourself into your work, and poor David Walliams was doing just that last night as the lynchpin of this year's Comic Relief.

As well as starring in several of the best skits, the Britain's Got Talent judge also wrote the brilliant James Bond segment starring Daniel Craig and Sir Roger Moore.

But it was an impromptu clinch with a surprise guest that's generated most headlines this morning - with viewers thrilled to see the funnyman getting a passionate kiss from Hollywood star Orlando Bloom!

Co-host Davina McCall was left green with envy as Bloom moved in for the smooch, locking lips with Walliams for several seconds as the crowd cheered.

Walliams was also part of another classic Red Nose Day moment as he and Catherine Tate teamed up with Sir Stephen Hawking for a sketch inspired by Little Britain's Lou and Andy.

But instead of faking disability, the physics genius transformed into a fearsome robot and attacked his two "helpers".

This year's total fundraising has already topped a staggering £78,082,988m - taking the total raised since Comic Relief began over the £1bn mark!
