Cooper Temples Rock the Bush!

TCTC get their hits, and flesh, out at London gig

The Cooper Temple Clause got the long Easter weekend spirits flowing with a stonker of a gig, and some tight-fitting knitwear, at Londons Shepherds Bush Empire.

TCTC, who headline one of the Camden Crawl gigs next week, took to the stage with a spring in their step on the final night of their UK tour, following a meaty support slot from Geordie outfit Kubichek.

The Coopers were quick to get their hits out, smashing their way through Film Maker - which had everyone singing and bouncing like the backseat of a naughty school-bus, A.I.M, Blind Pilots and the mighty Promises Promises, in between the big ones from their new album Make This Your Own.

Those big new ones included Homo Sapians, Waiting Game, latest single Head and the excellent Damage, which got one of the biggest, sweatiest responses of the night.

Talking of sweaty, a Cooper-talking-point of the night was guitarist/keyboardist Toms choice of vest that he revealed during the gig. It was a sexy tight, white, thin-strapped number, so figure-hugging that his nipples needed their own backstage passes! The big tart.

Meanwhile, away from Tom's nipples, and following a monster rendition of Lets Kill Music and some nice violin bow-on-the-guitar action from skimpy-vest-man himself, the Wokingham boys brought proceedings to a close with their classic Panzer Attack, but only after teasing the crowd with a long dancey version of the intro first.

It was an impressive show from TCTC, make sure you catch one of their festival slots this summer. Theyre, erm, simply the vest
