Coronation Street Spoilers: Craig’s dilemma, Monday 10 – Friday 14 July
Coming up in Coronation Street, Craig Tinker is forced to choose between what’s right and what’s easy.
Awful Neil continues to be awful
Sarah Platt invites very bad man Neil to talk to Bethany Platt, unaware that he participated in the teen’s abuse. Bethany is too scared to tell anyone what’s going on until Craig realizes that none of Neil’s home visits have been registered, and confronts him.
Resigned to it
Bethany confesses all to the trainee copper, but when he feels he can’t help her he decides to quit the force. We admire his principles but can’t help but feel he could have done more good by staying.
Sarah on the warpath
Refusing to accept that there’s not enough evidence to pursue her daughter’s abuser, Sarah heads to the drop-in centre looking for other young women Nathan Curtis attacked. Instead, she finds Shona Ramsey.
David rages
David Platt is nawt happy when he finds Billy Mahew helping Shona into No.11 and threatens Billy, telling him to keep Shona out of his way. We can understand his anger; it’s the anniversary of Kylie Platt’s death after all.
Goodbye, Liz
There are long faces over at the Rovers Return when Liz McDonald signs away her share. Steve McDonald signs his mum up for courses at the community centre but Liz, who is basically our hero, has already found herself a new job. We have a funny feeling that’s not the last of Liz pulling pints though, mark our words.
Erica tempts Kevin
It looks as though we might have to reassess Kevin Webster. The character we may have referred to as an oily tramp last week, is this week invited for an afternoon of sexy times by Erica Holroyd and turns her down because of his love for Anna Windass. Well we never.
Mr and Mrs Cole
Meanwhile, Mary Taylor is furious when she discovers Norris Cole has been pretending they’re married. Until she realizes he was entering a Mr and Mrs completion to win a trip to South Africa so she could visit her brother. Excuse us, we just have something in our eye.
