Glee Cast Remember Cory Monteith On Anniversary Of His Death

The late-actor's castmates mark the first anniversary since his untimely death...

The cast of Glee have shared commemorative posts to mark the first anniversary since the death of their co-star, Cory Monteith, yesterday (13 July).

Lea Michele posted a personal photo of herself with Cory on Twitter.

She wrote a touching message alongside the picture, tweeting: "We hold you in our hearts today, and every day we remember your smile. We will love you and miss you always".

Lea wasn't alone in posting a tribute to Cory. Glee creator Ryan Murphy also remembered the tragic anniversary with a screenshot of the Glee episode dedicated to the late 31-year-old.

His message to his Twitter followers simply read: "Miss you."

Co-stars Kevin McHale and Amber Riley also took to social media to remember their castmate and friend.

"It's been one whole year and it's still so surreal, but today is just a reminder of how damn great you were and how much you mean to us all", McHale wrote.

Riley, who plays Mercedes in the comic-musical series, wrote: "I remember your smile and your warm hugs! Oneyear without you and your presence is still felt. Miss and love you everyday big bro. Our Angel."

Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina, posted a picture of Cory with the rest of the Glee cast to her Instagram account.

The actress captioned the photo: "365 days since you've gone and not a day passes we don't remember your smiling face. We miss you buddy.

"Thanks to everyone for your love and support today while we remember our quarterback."
