Courtney Love Loses Custody of Daughter

Courtney Love has lost custody of her daughter with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

 

17 year old Frances Bean has been placed under temporary guardianship of her grandmother Wendy O Connor.

 

Kurt’s mother and sister Kimberly Cobain will now look after Frances until at least February.

 

The news was revealed by court documents which did not give a reason for Love losing custody of her teenage daughter.

 

Courtney- who fronted band Love and has released solo albums- has battled drug addiction in the past.

 

In 2003 she lost custody of Frances Bean after a drugs overdose.
