Courtney Love has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon after attacking a woman with a bottle and metal flashlight.
The incident occurred in April 25 when Love allegedly attacked a female friend of her former manager Jim Barber, as his LA home. The singer is not yet in custody, though an arrest warrant was issued on Wednesday, a police spokesperson confirmed.
Love already faces three additional charges, including drugs charges after cocaine was found in her system after she was arrested for allegedly trying to break into an ex-boyfriend's house in October 2003.
The troubled star also faces charges of illegally possessing prescription painkillers, which she denies. The pre-trial in this case has been postponed until July 15. The final charge is for assault and reckless endangerment after allegedly hitting a fan with a microphone stand at a performance in March.
