Daft Punk Get Lucky With 100 Million Plays On Spotify

Daft Punk’s Get Lucky has clocked up more than 100 million plays on Spotify, making it the music streaming site’s most popular song ever.
According to MusicAlly the track, which features Pharrell Williams and disco legend Nile Rodgers, reached 104,768,829 plays yesterday (August 22).
Get Lucky also holds the record for most Spotify plays in a 24-hour period as well as being the first single to sell one million copies in the UK this year.
Following on from the success of the single that stormed the charts this summer, the French the duo is set to release a second single from their album Random Access Memories.
Lose Yourself to Dance once again features Pharrell on vocals and was co-written by Nile, who found success with his group Chic in the 1970s and has worked with a host of other artists including Madonna.
The single looks likely to be officially released next month with a video to follow shortly after.
