Daft Punk are comfortably on course to stay at the UK No.1 spot this weekend with Get Lucky Ft. Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers.

The robots, who won their first ever UK No.1 last Sunday are, according to midweek figures, a good 35,000 copies ahead of former No.1 Rudimental who stay put at No.2 with Waiting All Night Ft. Ella Eyre.

This week’s highest new entry comes from Disclosure with You & I Ft. Eliza Doolittle at No.10 and is set to be the dance duo’s second UK Top 10 single after White Noise Ft. AlunaGeorge peaked at No.2 back in February.

Budding musician Michael Molloy tragically lost his life following a coach crash last September on the way home from the festival held on the Isle Of Wight. His family and musical collaborator Alex Evans, with the help of Sunday Best Recordings, released the track in his memory.
Bestival boss and Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank commented: “It’s obvious to me that Michael was a young and rare talent and that music was an extremely important part of his life. I’ve heard he absolutely loved Bestival and had a great time at Bestival 2012 so I feel privileged to be able to help his family fulfil his and their ambition of getting Michael’s music out there.”
