NERD & Daft Punk Track Hypnotize You Leaks

Pharrell Williams’ band first unleashed the collaboration when they played it on David Letterman’s chatshow last week.

 

But now a studio version has hit the net, featuring Daft Punk’s minimal dance production.

 

The downbeat song - taken from N.E.R.D’s forthcoming album Nothing- features Pharrell crooning over a bass heavy synth-led beat.

 

Daft Punk have recently been finishing the soundtrack to the Disney movie Tron Legacy, which is released on November 22.

 

And although Pharrell (as the Neptunes) previously remixed the french duo, Hypnotize You is the first time they’ve ever produced for another artist.

 

They were of course famously sampled by Kanye West for his Stronger track too.
