Marley Brings Jamaica to London!
Damian and his crew do the business at Somerset House...
Damian 'Jr Gong' Marley took to the stage at Somerset House last night (July 11) and smashed it Jamaican style.
Equipped with a no nonsense reggae band, two energetic backing singers and a 6ft 6 Rastafarian flag waver, and fresh from doing the business at Oxegen festival over the weekend, the Jr Gong took to the stage at around 9pm.
Marley was definitely ready for musical war when he belted out his much loved tunes Confrontation and Move! The crowds response to Marley was electric as they waved their flags and put their lighters in the air.
As the evening went on Marley belted out two of his father's hits Jamming and Exodus, with his backing singers in full spasm-dance flow.
Marley ended the evening with the infamous Welcome to Jamrock, which had the crowd chanting "Jamaica! Jamaica!" in unison.
His dad would have been proud...
Tune-in to Ultimate Festival Weekend, July 29 and 30, on MTV.
