Damon Albarn Confirms Two Intimate London Gigs
Blur frontman will headline the dates this spring in support of his new album, Everyday Robots...
Damon Albarn has announced he will play two intimate London shows in April.
Starting at the Rivoli Ballroom, the Blur star will then play the iconic People’s Palace at The Great Hall, Queen Mary University of London.
A number of European dates follow, culminating in the headline slot on Saturday night at Latitude Festival in July.
Albarn’s new studio album, Everyday Robots, is his most autobiographical to date and is produced by XL’s Richard Russell and recorded at West London’s 13 Studio.
The LP features cameo appearances by Brian Eno and Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes) and will be released by Parlophone on April 28.
The London dates are:
April 30 - The Rivoli Ballroom
May 1 - The Great Hall, Queen Mary University of London
Tickets for the Rivoli Ballroom and The Great Hall, QMUL are £35 each (plus a £2.80 booking fee) and will be available from 9:00am GMT on Friday, February 14.
