Dash Tired Of Posh Connection

Record producer Damon Dash today announced at a London press conference that he was "sick of being called Victoria's friend". "I did what I had to do. She asked me to produce a record and I did. It's not like the relationship has been severed or anything and if she has another project to do maybe I'll work with her again."

Dash also claimed that producing Victoria Beckham's single 'This Groove' "was not the highlight of my career". "I don't want to be known as Victoria's mentor, Victoria's friend or Victoria's producer," he said. "I want to be known as Damon Dash CEO of Roc-A-Fella Record, Rocawear, and films. When you say my name, don't just say I'm Victoria's producer because I am way more than that."

Dash also responded to a rap allegation made against him over an alleged incident in Brazil on New Year's Day 2003, describing the claim as "ridiculous".
