Dan Stevens To Play The Beast Opposite Emma Watson's Beauty?
British pair could be teaming up for live-action version of Disney classic...
Disney has already cast Emma Watson in its live-action movie of Beauty And The Beast - and now it looks like she could be joined by a couple more Brits.
Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens is reported to have been recruited to play the Beast of the title, while Welshman Luke Evans is apparently in the frame to play baddie Gaston.
Both actors are claimed by The Hollywood Reporter to be in negotiations over the roles in what looks set to be a musical.
Watson teased on Facebook in January: "It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'.
"Time to start some singing lessons."
The movie will be Disney's third live-action retelling of their classic movies in recent years. First came Angelina Jolie as Maleficent and Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella is set to hit cinemas next week - again with a strong British contingent in the cast.
