Beth Tweddle Wins Dancing On Ice

Olympic gymnast takes gold medal position in ITV reality show...

Olympic medal-winning gymnast Dancing On Ice.
The 27-year-old sportswoman, who won bronze on the uneven bars at London 2012, beat EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas to win the ITV reality show with partner Dan Whiston.

After being told she had come out on top in the public vote, Tweddle declared that she was "speechless", prompting her partner to quip: "I've never heard Beth say she's speechless - ever!"
When she did find some words, Beth paid tribute to her opponent, saying: "All credit goes to Matt, he's done an amazing skate tonight."
Head judge Robin Cousins had described Beth's dancing as "electric", while former Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts told her: "That was sexy. That was sultry. There was attack. There was softness."
But Lapinskas had been singled out as the best by their fellow judge Jason Gardiner.
He told the actor: "For me, you are my champion."
As he learned of his defeat, the 24-year-old said: "It's been an amazing 10 weeks. Congratulations to Beth, really well done, a great contender. Dan, congratulations mate.
"I've actually fallen in love with skating now and I'm not going to give it up, I'm going to keep going."

Matt's skating partner has [uuid=7d380262-83f0-49d4-a1cf-daac73944f61]denied rumours of a romance[/uuid] between the pair.
