Lauren Goodger: Injury Prevented DOI Final Skate

Former TOWIE star claims she couldn't perform in Dancing On Ice finale...

Lauren Goodger has explained her absence from the rink during the Dancing On Ice final, claiming that she has been injured.

The former The Only Way Is Essex cast member remained in the audience during last night's series finale, and was not even mentioned by the presenters.

But Lauren tweeted: "Sorry guys I've been in physio I'm injured I'm here with the atmosphere but can't skate! Wrap party after loved every minute of DOI 2013 xx."

And earlier in the day she had written: "Spent the day with my Doi crew love to all the guys and good luck finalists !! Eekkk xx"

Lauren was the second contestant to get the boot in this year's series, having been described by judge Jason Gardiner as a "walrus on ice".

Beth Tweddle beat EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas in the series final last night.
