Louie Spence Gets Dancing On Ice Judging Seat

Camp choreographer to replace Jason Gardiner on ITV1 show...

It's out with Mr Nasty and in with Mr Camp for the forthcoming series of Dancing On Ice after ITV revealed that Louie Spence would be replacing Jason Gardiner on the judging panel.
And the Pineapple Dance Studios star will be joined by another new face on the panel in the form of figure skating legend Katarina Witt - with Karen Barber and head judge Robin Cousins filling the other two seats.
Jason was involved in a "bullying row" with Karen last year after telling her during a disagreement on air: "If your opinion still mattered, you'd be on the panel."
He may be a little red-faced now that he's got the boot and she's been moved back into a judging role, having been mentor to the celebs last year.
Louie said: "I'm looking forward to being part of such a challenging and spectacular show and can't wait to give my encouragement and critique on the contestants' dance and performance on the ice."
And Katarina, who is replacing outgoing judge Emma Bunton, said: "I can't wait to join the Dancing On Ice judging panel. As well as offering support and constructive advice to this year's celebrity skaters I'm also looking forward to working alongside my close friends Torvill and Dean."
Former Spice Girl Emma apparently wanted to concentrate on her other interests - which include a slot on Heart FM, the forthcoming Spice musical and her duties as a mum.
