Oona King Out Of Dancing On Ice
Baroness King leaves the show after dramatic skate-off...
Baroness Dancing On Ice, following a dramatic skate-off.
Five celebs faced the public vote, as each contestant took on their leaderboard equal this week, going head-to-head in a skating 'duel'.
The judges then decided which of the pair should face the public vote, leaving five stars - Gareth Thomas, Luke Campbell, Oona King, Shayne Ward and Joe Pasquale - up for the boot.
With the public voting closed, Gareth and Oona were left to skate for survival.
While Gareth's routine to Queen's Somebody To Love went without a hitch, there were a few tense moments for Oona as her partner Mark Hanretty fell coming onto the ice, dislocating his shoulder.
However, after some swift medical treatment, he bravely returned to the ice with Oona for what proved to be their final dance.
Judge Ashley Roberts voted to save the Baroness, but Karen Barber, Jason Gardiner and Robin Cousins all decided that Oona should go home, on the basis that Gareth was a "stronger skater and performer".
Asked whether she had enjoyed her time on the show, Oona said she had "loved" learning to skate and vowed to continue away from the show.
But she confessed that she just "couldn't deal" with going head-to-head against Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle.
Last week, reality TV star Lauren Goodger got the boot from the skating show.
