Daniel Radcliffe has explained comments he made about his former Harry Potter castmate Rupert Grint, insisting they are "very good friends."
In a recent interview with The Mirror, the 22-year old actor revealed that himself and Rupert - who played Ron Weasley in the flicks - hardly ever spoke to each other.
Radcliffe was quoted as saying: "Rupert and I never text each other, we never see each other. If I see him every six months or so, it’s a friendly ‘hello, how’s things with you’ but that’s about it.”
Daniel has since addressed his remarks on Ryan Seacrest's On Air radio show, reassuring fans of the Potter movies that himself and Grint are pals.
The Woman In Black star said: "Rupert and I never text, we never have in 10 years of filming. We are crappy at texting each other back and we both know that's how the other person is and we just accept it,
"The next time I see Rupert we will sit down next to each other and chat and it will be like old times. Me and Rupert are very, very good friends. It's just that we are not constantly texting each other."
Earlier this week, Radcliffe also admitted that he would consider playing wizard Harry again if the material was good enough.
