Daniel Radcliffe is claimed to have sparked a mini-stampede with an appearance at the Venice Film Festival.
The former Harry Potter star is reported by Deadline to have been mobbed by fans at the Lido, where he had turned up to promote Kill Your Darlings.
D-Rad, 24, was also apparently harassed by fans who "thumped on the walls and rattled the windows" while he visited the toilet.
But the one-time boy wizard was reported to have been "unshaken" by all the attention.
He was quoted as saying: "I've been dealing with it in various ways since I was 11… I'm incredibly grateful for the swirl of support behind me. My fans seem excited by the unconventional path I am taking."
Radcliffe plays beat poet Allen Ginsberg in the new movie, which opens in the UK on 8 November.
