Daniel Radcliffe Talks Fifty Shades Of Grey
"It's not something that would have been a good next step for me" says the actor
When asked about the upcoming big screen adaptation of the erotic novel, the former Harry Potter star told MTV News US: "I literally had someone say to me for the first time today, 'The world's in uproar you're not playing Christian Grey.' And I'm like 'If this is uproar, it's inaudible.'"
The 24-year-old star continued: "I think there was approximately no people wanting me to play Christian Grey, including myself."
Months of rumours were finally put to rest this month when it was revealed Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson had been cast as the film's two leads - and it appears Radcliffe is perfectly happy not to appear in the flick.
Daniel added: "I have to say, no offence to anybody, I'm sure they're going to do a great job on the movie, but it's not something that I think of would have been a good next step for me."
Radcliffe has three movies currently in the pipeline, Kill Your Darlings, The F Word and the dark whodunnit murder mystery Horns.
