What Do You Mean Daniel Radcliffe Won't Be In The New Harry Potter Film?!
Bad news for Harry Potter fans...
The actor who played boy wizard Harry Potter in the film franchise has spoken out about his part in the new JK Rowling spin-off movie.
He revealed to Entertainment Tonight at Comic Con on the weekend that he will not be starring in the new film, due for release in 2016.
The 25-year-old was at the event promoting his new movie Victor Frankenstein. He said of the Harry Potter franchise: "I still get people saying, 'Are there going to be any more movies?' And now I can say, 'There are actually!'"
Although he won't be starring in them *sob*: "But I'm not going to be in them. And they're like, 'Oh sorry,' and I'm like 'They're set in the past. Don't worry about it!'"
He doesn't seem that bothered, but we're sat here completely devastated, don't leave us Harry! Although, it's not all bad news as we will have some suitable eye-candy to soothe our wounds in the form of Eddie Redmayne.
The Theory Of Everything star will be playing the lead role in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, and it was announced yesterday that there will be an open casting call happening in London this weekend to find the lucky lady that will play opposite him. IT COULD BE YOU!
