Dappy Arrested
Dappy was arrested in London on Saturday, 8 October, on suspicion of attacking his girlfriend.
Kaye Vassell was at her mother’s house in west London when an incident took place.Reports statethat it was Kaye’s mother who called the police when Dappy became violent towards his partner.
A Met Police spokesperson confirmed the arrest: "Police were called at 8.59am to an address in W6 to reports of a woman assaulted. Officers attended and arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of common assault.
“The 21-year-old victim did not require hospital treatment."
The singer, [uuid=37419122-f5e7-4936-a4f4-6066be727de6]who topped the charts with his first solo single[/uuid], was held in custody for nearly 12 hours but eventually released without charge. “No further action will be taken,” the Met Police said in a statement.
After the argument, Kaye wrote on Twitter: “I Feel Physically SICK.”
The couple, who have two sons, have a turbulent relationship and last year Dappy suffered a broken nose after allegedly being attacked by Kaye.
