Dappy Found Guilty Of Assault & Affray
N-Dubz star & pal Kieran Vassell will be sentenced on 15th February...
Dappy - real name Costadinos Contostavlos - was accused of spitting at two girls, 19-year olds Serena Burton and Grace Cochran at the Woodbridge Road Shell services, before an altercation with David Jenkins who helped the women.
The No Regrets hitmaker was later charged with two counts of common assault on the girls, and one count of assault on Jenkins, as well as one charge of affray.
The 25-year old was cleared of the charges of assault against the two women, but guilty of the last two offences named above.
The Sun reports that Dappy 'sighed and shook his head' when the guilty verdicts were delivered by the jury.
Dappy's pal Kieran Vassell - who was also charged with affray - was also found guilty, but
Kalonji Stewart was cleared of the charges.
According to BBC News, judge Neil Stewart then adjourned the case for pre-sentence reports to be prepared on both Dappy and Vassell.
The pair have since been released on unconditional bail and will be sentenced on 15th February.
Dappy has since reacted to the verdict on Twitter, writing: "Not guilty For spitting at the Females but Guilty for defending my self from the 3 Males!!!! #ThisAintRight."
He then retweeted a message from friend Kirk Norcross - who was spotted at court with Dappy yesterday (16th January) - with The Only Way Is Essex star stating: "The justice system is f**ked!!!!"
"U have perverts walking the Streets and u would rather convict people with no proper evidence!"
