Dappy: 'I Didn't Break Down In Court'
N-Dubz rapper denies crying after escaping jail sentence...
Dappyhas claimed that reports that he broke down in tears in court are untrue.
It was alleged that the N-Dubz rapper cried with relief and shouted "Yes" after he was sentenced for assault and affray at Guildford Crown Court on Friday.
The star allegedly became emotional when he was handed a six-month sentence, suspended for 18 months, thus narrowly escaping jail.
He took to Twitter to dispute the claims he wept saying: "The way they make things out to be!!!! Just cause 2 tears ran down my face that gave them the opportunity 2 say I broke down in Tears #Lies,"
Dappy was convicted of assaulting David Jenkins but he was cleared of two counts of common assault on teenagers Grace Cochran and Serena Burton.
Dappy - real name Costadinos Contostavlos - was also ordered to pay £4,500 in compensation and £2,000 costs to Jenkins.
