London rapper Dave can add a No.1 album to his list of accolades this evening having just topped the Official UK Albums Chart with 'PSYCHODRAMA'!

Dave, who hit No.1 on the Official UK Singles Chart with ‘Funky Friday’ ft. Fredo last October, scored the title following a nail-biting battle with Foals, who also returned this week with 'Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost, Pt 1'.

There were just 279 combined sales between them!

Drilling into Dave’s figures, 'PSYCHODRAMA' totalled 26,390 combined sales, including 23.6 million track streams, which made up 79% of its total figure.

Writing on Instagram, Dave said: "Number 1 Album in the country. Glory be to God. Thank you to everyone who supported me and was a part of this. I owe you everything. Best day of my life."

Elsewhere, Dido's first studio album in six years, 'Still On My Mind', sees her return to the chartsat No.3 and Sigrid's debut LP'Sucker Punch', enters at No.4.

Dave also claims the three highest new entries on the Top 40 with ‘Disaster’ ft. J Hus placing at No.8, ‘Streatham’ at No.9 and ‘Location’ ft. Burna Boy at No.11.
