The stars are also likely to sue ‘vice girl’ Irma Nici, with one report saying they’ll seek £5 million in damages after her claims that she had a threesome with David and another woman.

Posh Spice has stuck by her husband this week as the reports surfaced, and has apparently insisted that she believes his denials.

As the story was released a spokesman for the Beckhams said: “The allegations that have been made are completely untrue and totally ridiculous as the magazine was clearly told before publication.

“Sadly we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it. We are taking legal action against the magazine.”
