David Beckham and his eldest son Brooklyn escaped uninjured from a car accident on Saturday (29 November).

The retired footballer was picking up 15-year-old Brooklyn from Arsenal’s training ground when they were involved in a collision with another car.

Brooklyn, who plays for Arsenal under-16s, had just finished a match against Brighton’s under-16s.

According to the Telegraph, the collision happened at quite a speed, with onlookers tweeting that the former England captain had hurt his shoulder.

A source close to Beckham told the paper: “They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang at quite a speed but everybody walked away uninjured.

“Everybody’s fine. Thankfully the car’s airbags deployed.”
