David Beckham is reported to be set to begin his career as a television presenter on BBC One.
But the former Manchester United and England soccer star will NOT be working as a football pundit, The Sunday Times has claimed.
The newspaper quotes BBC One's controller Charlotte Moore as revealing that Becks is already working on a show for the channel.
Remaining tight-lipped about the exact nature of Becks' show, the big cheese would only reveal that it would not involve football.
The paper speculated that fatherhood or modelling could be involved, but these suggestions have not been confirmed or denied.
Becks' work on the London 2012 Olympics and the BBC's public service remit could make a general sports, lifestyle or healthy living programme a possibility too.
The 38-year-old dad of four has been keeping busy since he retired as a player - also recently announcing his joint ownership of a Major League Soccer franchise in Miami.
