David Beckham: 'Royal Couple Should Call Baby David'

David Beckhamhas joked that the Royal couple should name their unborn baby after him if it is a boy.

 

The football player also toldPrince William and Kate Middleton will be "amazing" parents, with their tot due any day now.

 

Becks said: "They're going to be amazing parents - because they are so loving towards children.

 

 

"William has grown from that young boy into an unbelievable gentleman. And that's a great quality for a father."

 

Speaking of what baby name he would recommend, the former England captain cheekily replied: "David's pretty good. I think they should go for David - if it's a boy!"

 

The birth of Wills and Kate's first baby is due to be announced at the gates of Buckingham Palace by a royal official - with their close family being informed of the birth first.
