Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams is reported to be "devastated" after separating from model wife Lara Stone.

The 43-year-old former Little Britain star is reported by The Sun to have stayed in their London home as his 31-year-old wife took their baby son Alfred and dog Bert.

A source told the paper: "David has been putting on a brave face.

"But people close to him are very worried because they know he's devastated."

The couple are claimed to have "drifted apart" over the last six months.

"It has stunned David's friends and TV colleagues," the mole went on. "Everyone thought the marriage was strong.

"David is used to hiding his emotions with comedy because that's what he's always done.

"But on the inside it is a real wrench."
