Ryan Reynolds' Big Reveal Of His Deadpool Costume Is Perfect

For a bunch of silly films about grown-ups in fancy dress, superhero movies can seem to take themselves a bit too seriously sometimes.

No chance of that with Ryan Reynolds' eagerly awaited new Deadpool project however - because the movie star has chosen to reveal his costume in the most hilarious way possible.

The 38-year-old tweeted a snap of himself covered head-to-toe in the black-and-red costume, reclining on a bearskin rug beside a blazing real fire.

The shot is an homage to a famous photo of 1970s movie stud Burt Reynolds (ask your mum) laying naked on a similar rug.

Reynolds (Ryan, not Burt) captioned his shot: "With great power, comes great irresponsibility. #deadpool #officialsuit @deadpoolmovie"

Set for release next February - the project has been one of the longest-coming in the comic book movie world, with the star pushing for it to happen since 2006.
