Dancer To Sue Over Alleged Demi Lovato Attack
Alex Welch is to file a lawsuit against the Disney star next week...
The dancer who was Demi Lovato, is reportedly planning to sue the 18-year old.
According to RadarOnline.com, Patrickhas requested that Alex does not sue his daughter, who is currently still seeking treatment in rehab.
Mr. Lovato said: "Demi has really good lawyers and so does Disney, this girl shouldn't sue. She won't win."
Alex has since broken her silence over the rumoured assault, admitting to People magazine that she still hasn't received an apology from the Sonny With A Chance actress.
Welch revealed: "To this day, I haven’t gotten an apology. I’ve heard nothing. That’s sad if you think that person is your friend.”
The dancer also claimed that Lovato had "gotten into trouble" the night before she lashed out, and was disciplined by her tour managers, adding that Demi was "upset" someone had "told on" her.
Recalling the moment when the Camp Rock star attacked her, Alex explained: "We were on the plane with the Jonases having this awesome time and… she walks up and punches me and literally walked away and got in her seat.”
A representative for Demi has since commented on the article, claiming: "Demi is focused on her treatment right now and hasn’t been able to call Alex directly."
“Her mother and stepfather have reached out through intermediaries to both Alex and her parents – they were told that they did not wish to speak with them.”
