Demi Lovato, Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian have proved that skin is very much in, by flashing the flesh at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.

Sporting a plunging red gown, which was also split to the thigh, Demi Lovato wins the J-Lo award for dresses that will go down in awards show history.

Teaming the daring dress with matching red nails, lips and clutch, Demi finished the look with gold heels and side-swept hair, showing off her recent undercut.

Meanwhile Kim K - who hit the red carpet with little sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner - rocked major cleavage in her woven mini dress. Who says you have to choose between boobs and legs?

Not Amber Rose, that’s for sure. The model, mum and fashion designer arrived at the VMAs with husband Wiz Khalifa, wearing a dress made entirely from silver chains, with tiny jewel-encrusted pants underneath.
