Demi Lovato has revealed just why she decided to dedicate a song to Bruce Jenner during one of her concerts recently.

The Heart Attack singer, who gave a special shout out to Jenner following his announcement he was transitioning from male to female, explains that she was simply 'blown away' by his courage.

"I remember seeing the interview the night before and I was blown away at the fact that this former man, because he wants to be called a woman, he is part of the most famous family on the planet," she explained on the Aquino and Abunda Tonight show.

"And by coming out and saying he's transitioning into a woman at this moment I thought was so brave. What do you think?"

Adding: "That must have been so difficult to do. I don't know him all that well but I am proud of him."

"I wanted to sing that in honor of him. I didn't plan it. He popped into my head before the song and I was like I got to share this because I'm so inspired by him," Demi said.
