Demi Lovato Mourning Death Of Father

Demi Lovato has cancelled her work commitments following the death of her father Patrick.

The details of his passing have not been released, but Demi's reps have confirmed the death. It is believed that he had been suffering from cancer.

The X Factor USAjudge had been due to attend a press session with Simon Cowell, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio but had to pull out.

And show host Mario Lopez tweeted a picture of the others with a message of sympathy, saying: "With my @TheXFactorUSA team! Missing @ddlovato today... :(."

Demi later thanked fans on Twitter for the support she had been shown.
