After completing a 90 day program in rehab, Demi Lovato is back home and has just made her return to social media.

The singer was hospitalised in July following adrug overdoseand has been taking a break from social media to focus on her recovery ever since.

Now the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ vocalist has made a return to the online world by posting a photo of herself casting her ballot in the US Midterm elections.

The post goes on to urge fans to head out and vote. She has a point; your voice can’t be heard if you don’t put pen to paper.

Taking to Instagram, Demi captioned the photo: "I am so grateful to be home to vote.One vote can make a difference, so make sure your voice is heard! Now go out and #VOTE!!!!”

As with any hard core stans, Demi’s fans came out in full force to support the star and welcome her back.

One fan tweeted: “Demi’s comeback was to tell y’all to vote. A LEGEND.” Agreed.
