'Sorry Not Sorry' Is Now Demi Lovato's Highest Charting Single in the US to Date
This really is Demi's biggest era to date...
It's safe to say that Demi is on top of the world right now. Not only did her incredible new record Tell Me You Love Me receive rave reviews but it also became her first UK Top 5 album and it debuted at Number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.
That's not all though. The album's lead single 'Sorry Not Sorry' has just become Demi's highest charting US single ever.
And baby, I'm the baddest, I'm the baddest, I'm the baddest
Go
Now I'm out here looking like revenge
Feelin' like a ten, the best I've ever been
And yeah, I know how bad it must hurt to see me like this
But it gets worse (wait a minute)
Now you're out here looking like regret
Ain't too proud to beg, second chance you'll never get
And yeah, I know how bad it must hurt to see me like this
But it gets worse (wait a minute)
Now payback is a bad bitch
And baby, I'm the baddest
You fuckin' with a savage
Can't have this, can't have this (ah)
And it'd be nice of me to take it easy on ya, but nah
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Being so bad got me feelin' so good
Showing you up like I knew that I would
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Feeling inspired 'cause the tables have turned
Yeah, I'm on fire and I know that it burns
Baby, fineness is the way to kill
Tell me how it feel, bet it's such a bitter pill
And yeah I know, you thought you had bigger and better things
Bet right now this stings (wait a minute)
'Cause the grass is greener under me
Brightest technicolor, I can tell that you can see
And yeah I know, how bad it must hurt to see me like this
But it gets worse (wait a minute)
Now payback is a bad bitch
And baby, I'm the baddest
You fuckin' with a savage
Can't have this, can't have this (ah)
And it'd be nice of me to take it easy on ya, but nah
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Being so bad got me feelin' so good
Showing you up like I knew that I would
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Feeling inspired 'cause the tables have turned
Yeah, I'm on fire and I know that it burns
Talk that talk, baby
Better walk, better walk that walk, baby
If you talk, if you talk that talk, baby
Better walk, better walk that walk, baby
Oh yeah, talk that talk, baby
Better walk, better walk that walk, baby
If you talk, if you talk that talk, baby
Better walk, better walk that walk, baby
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Being so bad got me feelin' so good
Showing you up like I knew that I would
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Baby, I'm sorry (I'm not sorry)
Feeling inspired 'cause the tables have turned
Yeah, I'm on fire and I know that it burns
Payback is a bad bitch
And baby, I'm the baddest, I'm the baddest, I'm the baddest
YES. DEMI REALLY IS KICKING OFF THE BIGGEST ERA OF HER CAREER TO DATE AND IT'S AMAZING!
'Sorry Not Sorry' debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at Number 52 in July and has since rapidly climbed up the chart. The hit rose to Number 10 last week becoming Demi's fourth US Top 10 single after 'This Is Me', 'Skyscraper' and 'Heart Attack'.
Then, just yesterday, the track ascended to Number 8 on the chart outpeaking all of Demi's previous singles.
Demi's debut single 'This Is Me' was previously her highest charting song after it reached Number 9 in 2008.
Meanwhile, Demi's best selling US single so far is 'Give Your Heart a Break', which is certified triple platinum. However, with 'Sorry Not Sorry' performing so well and already being certified platinum, it could go on to outsell 'Give Your Heart a Break'.
What's more, the Confident star might release and even more successful single from Tell Me You Love Me.
The album is filled with lots of potential international hits.
We can't wait to find out what the second single will be!
