Wait A Minute! Did Demi Lovato Just Come Out As Bisexual?
Demi Lovato is part of a star-studded line-up as Alan Carr's Chatty Man returns to the small screen tonight - and the pop star has helped him start the new series with a big bang.
Chatting and joking with the host about her new single Cool For The Summer, Demi appears to have just casually dropped the bombshell that she's enjoyed a same-sex relationship - oh, and also that she might still be in one.
They got on the subject after Carr quizzed her over whether the song was "about lesbianism".
She responded: "I'm not confirming and I'm definitely not denying."
Which Carr followed up by asking: "Have you ever gone cool for the summer yourself?"
Staying cool as a cucumber, she replied: "All of my songs are based off of personal experiences."
And she added: "I don't think there is anything wrong with experimentation at all."
And as if that wasn't exciting enough, there was more to come.
Carr joked: "The trouble is I experimented once and it stuck."
To which Demi responded: "Hey, I didn't say it didn't stick either."
And she encouraged male artists to incorporate sexual experimentation into their music as well.
"I don’t think there is anything wrong, like if a very popular male artist came and one of his songs came out and said, 'I’m experimenting'.
"If a guy sang this song who was straight it would be such an uproar.
"The thing is, I actually find it more, I don’t know, there is a confidence to a man that would say I've experimented with a man and not care.
"You know what I mean? I actually find that more attractive than somebody saying, 'No no no, that's so wrong'. You know what I mean?"
We do Demi, we do.
Chatty Man is on Channel 4 at 10pm tonight.
