Destiny's Child Star Admits: 'I've Fought Depression'

Destiny's Childstar Kelly Rowland for a new DC album - admitted she first starting suffering from the condition as a teenager.

Speaking to The AP, Williams said: "I've had to deal with depression. I had to choose to get out of bed and do whatever I needed to do to be happy."

Michelle went on to add that those suffering from depression should not be embarrassed to talk about mental illness, stating they should seek help.

She claimed: "Go see a professional so that they can assess you. It's okay if you're going through something.

"Depression is not okay, but it is okay to go get help."

Last week, rumours suggested that Williams and Rowland are expected to join Queen B onstage during her performance at the Super Bowl on 4th February - marking their first live appearance as a group since 2006.
