There's Now A Dating Site Especially For Disney Fans
You might just get your happy ever after.
Life might not always be a fairy tale but that doesn't mean you can't find your happy ever after, at least if this brand new Disney themed dating site has anything to do with it.
While trying to find your Cinderella or Prince Charming might sometimes feel a bit like doing battle with Ursula, Jafar and Scar all at once, the aim of this new site is to help extreme Disney fans connect with like-minded souls.
Called MouseMingle, the platform is basically offering to act as your own personal fairy godmother and match you up with someone who shares in your love of the brand.
It's a bit different to your usual dating sites too and instead of listing your hopes, dreams and favourite pizza toppings on your profile, all potential lovebirds have to fill out a themed questionnaire including details on your Disney shopping habits, 'nerd-level' and favourite songs from the brand's back catalogue.
It's all totally unofficial, but was launched by Dave Tavres, a former Disney Railroad engineer and devoted fan of all things Disney.
“I’m not the guy who hits on women at the park, and there’s no flag that says, 'hey I’m single,'” he tells Los Angeles Magazine.
“I found it hard to find women who were as interested in Disney as I am," he adds. “All the normal sites don’t have Disney questions."
It's totally free to browse although if you want to contact someone, there is a $12.55 fee.
It's clearly found its crowd and they've already had so many people trying to sign up that the site's been been experiening technical difficulties. So, if you are planning on hunting down your Prince Charming or Cinderella, you might have a bit more of a wait before you finally get to use those Bedknobs and Broomsticks inspired chat up lines you've been working on.
