Dizzee Rascal Releases Free Mix Tape

Dizzee Rascal has given fans a Christmas gift by releasing a free mix tape via his website.

The British rapper posted a link to DirteeTV.com yesterday (26 December) enabling fans to download The Mixtape Vol. 2 - the follow-up to his 2007 freebie.

Mixed by DJ MK, the download features new tracks by P Money, Newham Generals, Bun B and Merky Ace.

And there's more good news for Dizzee fans because a teaser for his upcoming fifth studio album is set for release on New Year's Day.

The six-track EP will be available on iTunes on 1 January, and the video for new track Bassline Junkie will make its debut on his DirteeTV.com web channel.

According to Digital Spy, Dizzee released a statement to say: "It's all new material and just a taster of all the good new music we got coming in the new year!

"The 'Bassline Junkie' video is gonna have people in stitches. 1 love!"
