The grime MC talks about the Mercury Music Awards
Grime MC Dizzee Rascalhas said that the Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize might as well be renamed as 'The Dizzee' due to the fact that he’s been nominated for the third year running.
24-year-old Dizzee won an award for his critically acclaimed 2003 album Boy In Da Corner and then was nominated for his 2007 offering, Maths & English.
He told The Daily Star: "The Dizzee award, that's what they should call it, why not? I'm going to win it this time. I feel like it's my time again. It would be nice for this album to get it. It's my first independent release on Dirtee Stank and my first platinum album.
