Chart topping MCDizzee Rascalhas said in a recent interview that he wants to make sure that he doesn’t focus too much on his ego and success.

The Dirtee Disco hit-maker, who went to No.1 over the weekend, also said that he wanted people to feel good about his music and workrate.

He told The Hits Radio: "It is a bit mad but I love it. As an artist or whatever you do in your life you're always trying to get to this point where you're as successful as you can [be].

"Hopefully I'll still get more successful but the main thing is that I'm making a lot of people happy and making a lot of people smile and making a lot of people feel good, that's what it's about.

"If you're smart, you check it and you remember it ain't too much about your ego, it's about your workrate. You have a little flex every now and then thinking, 'Yeah I’m that guy', but then I kick myself up the arse and let my mind know one day you're not gonna be that guy so keep it moving so you've got a future."
