Dizzee Talks Pimp C

EXCLUSIVE | The UK Rapper tells us about the UGK MC who was found dead yesterday

Rapper Pimp C- one half of legendary group UGK- was found dead yesterday in an LA hotel room.

The MC was just 33 and the cause of death is currently unknown.
UGK formed in the late 80s and were big on the underground for a decade before hitting the mainstream by featuring on Jay-Zs Big Pimpin.

They later had a massive hit with International Players Anthem and the album UGK: Underground Kingz.

More recently the duo worked with our very own Dizzee Rascal for his track Wheres Da Gs.

Dizzee exclusively told MTV News: "Listening to Pimp C and UGK got me through a lot of hard times growing up. Its tragic to see someone so talented who gave so much to the culture to go so suddenly.

The Maths And English MC said: I was lucky enough to work with Pimp before he left us and although outspoken at times personally I found him to be one of the humblest and most generous people I have ever come across. A true legend, he will be sadly missed but I know his legacy will live on."
