Dizzee Works with Lily Allen

And the little Rascal says his third album will go multi-platinum because of it...

Dizzee Rascal has revealed he's worked with Lily Allen and Joss Stone on his new album 'Maths And English' - and reckons the girls will help it become a massive seller.

The rapper told NME that Lily sings the hook on a track called 'So You Want To Be A Gangsta'. He explained, "I was working with (US production team) Futurecuts, and they got Lily in to sing on the track. I like her - she's straight up."

And then there's Ms Stone.

"She came up to me at the Brit Awards. She said, 'I'd like to sing a hook on your record'," explained Dizzee. "The track is not what you'd expect. You don't always hear Joss Stone singing on a drum 'n' bass tune, do you?"

The London lyricist also says working with Arctic Monkeys on one of their tracks called 'Temptation' around the time they recorded their second album, left him inspired.

"They sent me (their) track and I wrote a verse for it... I'd definitely like to work with them again, especially Alex. He's a special guy. He knows all types of music - it goes beyond rock 'n' roll."

And now Dizzee reckons his new offering will see him garner similar plaudits to his Mercury Prize-winning debut 'Boy In Da Corner'.

"I want this album to go multi-platinum," he said. "It should make people have a good time."
