DJ Fresh Scores His First Number One

And Beyoncé stays on top of the album chart…

DJ Fresh has scored his first UK No 1. He held off tough competition from Loick Essien’s How We Roll to top the singles chart with Louder, which features Kosheen singer Sian Evans on vocals.

Ed Sheeran is at No 3 with The A Team and Example is at four with Changed The Way You Kiss Me. Jason Derulo’s Don’t Wanna Go Home, which was on top last week, dropped to fifth place.

Beyoncé’s new single, Best Thing I Never Had, fell three places to No 6, while Calvin Harris also fell three places with Bounce, featuring Kelis. Pitbull is also on the way down with Give Me Everything while Katy Perry managed to hold on to the ninth spot for a second week with Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.). Alexandra Stan rounded out the top 10 with Mr Saxobeat.

Beyoncé, fresh from her performance at T In The Park on Saturday night, spent her second week at No 1 on the album chart with 4.

The highest new entry was Beverley Knight’s covers album Soul UK at No 13. Selena Gomez debuted two places below her with her newie, When The Sun Goes Down.
